Rana is a writer, director, producer and occasional performer. Born and raised in New York City, she was exposed to a wide range of mediums: music, theater, dance, comic books, and television. She grew a strong desire for visual storytelling, which prompted her to pursue and receive a BA in Film Studies at Hunter College. Since then, she has completed a series of screenplays, short films, and plays.  

 

She further studied her craft at Full Sail University, where she received an MFA in Creative Writing in Entertainment. Rana's genres of interest are drama and comedies, with focus on social issues and inspirational messages.
